Entry scripts must be the contestant’s original work.

Entry scripts may NOT have been previously sold or produced.

The screenplay must be written in English.
Entry scripts must be in industry standard format and bound with two or three brads (brass fasteners) or submitted electronically.

Body pages must be numbered.

Entry scripts must be on plain white paper.
No substitutions of new drafts or corrected pages for script entries will be accepted under any circumstances.

Applicants name or contact information should NOT appear on the cover, the title page or any other page of the script.

Each Entry Must Include the Following:

a. One copy of an original feature film screenplay 80-130 pages in length.

Multi Submissions & Authorships
A contestant may submit more than one (1) Screenplay Submission provided a digitally signed online entry form and appropriate entry fee is submitted for each screenplay.

Entry scripts involving multiple authorships are acceptable. If the screenplay wins an award, it is the sole responsibility of the writers to divide that award.

Registration Requirements
We want you to be protected. The International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival strongly recommends writers to copyright their work. Registering your script with the WGA, west is one of the best and affordable ways a writer can protect their script.
