Category Rules

Entries for this category should be ready for screening on television. We accept either 4:3 or 16:9 format. These are GENRE programs and we are looking for producers who may be interested in a long term relationship with a local TV channel, especially, although this is not a requirement for submission.

Your entry may be live action, animation or a combination. All submissions should be "Rated" by the producer using a standard U.S. TV rating system available online. This is to assist us in determining both the judging body - programs designed for children under the age of 7 will include members of that audience in the judging panel - etc.

Accepted films will be sreened on a television channel with an audience area in excess of 1.5 million people and may be offered an opportunity for inclusion in a ShockerFest 2012 compilation DVD. Entry in this category INCLUDES permission for the submission to be aired on a local channel, if selected for such screening.
