PRIZES & AWARDS
This category is a competition.


The Golden Chough Award
Best Film of the Festival. This will be awarded to the film that best captures the spirit of the Festival.
Sponsor:Delabole Slate
This prize is shared with other categories.


Jury Award: Best Short Film
This will be awarded to the best Cornish short film in the 2012 Festival. Films approximately 20 minutes long or under will be eligible.
Sponsor:St Austell Brewery
Cash Award Value: 400 United Kingdom Pound


The Delabole Slate Best Film of the Festival
The audience will vote for its favourite Cornish film from any of the main screenings.

CATEGORY RULES
At least one of the creative team (writer, director or producer) must be currently resident in Cornwall, and an address must be supplied. OR the film must demonstrate a strong link to Cornwall.

Films must have been completed since 1st January 2012.

Submitters are required to include a 15 word (maximum) synopsis for the Festival brochure with your submission.
