Category Rules

Less than 50 minutes

Films entered must have been produced, directed, written or edited by a woman. Films by men will be accepted if the subject matter is about or directly impacts women.

All non-English language films must be dubbed in English or have English subtitles.

In order to qualify as a U.S. Documentary Short Film, the submitted project must be either scripted or improvisational fiction, and at least
half of the project's financing must originate from within the United States.

First and second-time directors encouraged.
