Best Louisiana Short
Past awards have included a $10,000 post-production package from Digital FX, a $9000 camera package from Division Camera, and a $500 cash prize.

Audience Choice Award
All Louisiana short films are eligible for an Audience Award, based on ballots submitted by audience members.

Category Rules

Prior Screenings:
- Entries may not have been publicly screened in the greater New Orleans area prior to the festival.

Prior Submissions:
- Any entry that has been previously submitted to the New Orleans Film Festival is not eligible, unless it is been re-edited or otherwise altered so that it is a substantially different film.

Exhibition Copies:
- If accepted, the final screening copy of your film must be in our office no later than September 2, 2014.

Updated Submissions:
- We are happy to review updated versions of your submission if time permits. However, there is no guarantee that our selection committee will view your updated version.

Please indicate in the Withoutabox cover letter where in Louisiana the director lives and how long they have been a Louisiana resident. Proof of residency must be provided (either emailed to noff@neworleansfilmsociety.org or mailed in with the DVD submission).
