This category is a competition.

1st Place
"Made in Alaska" films of all lengths are considered as a category for awards. The AIFF top prize in each category is an Alaskan Native handcarved walrus oosik (petrified bone) and a certificate of achievement.

"Made in Alaska" films of all lengths are considered as a category for awards. A certificate of achievement is the 2nd place prize in each category.

Category Rules

Any film "Made in Alaska" completed after January 1, 2017, regardless of category, henry, content, subject or origin, will be considered. Length must be at least 1 minute and no more than 120 minutes. The film cannot have been screened in Alaska, or in any other US state, on broadcast or cable TV, prior to December 1, 2018. Films being sold commercially on DVD may not be accepted at the programming director's discretion.
