Category Rules

GENERAL RULES:
You will need to create a pitch video based on an un-produced screenplay or work-in-progress. If accepted your pitch video will go into public voting on the Synimatica streaming app for 30 days. The pitch video with the most votes will be awarded the $2000 cash prize and a featured distribution option deal on the Synimatica platform.

PITCH VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:
Your PITCH video will need to be high quality, engaging, and informative. This is your chance to tell others about your project. The length of your PITCH video may be no longer then 5 minutes. We recommend filming yourself (or other crew) addressing the viewers in front of a white or neutral color backdrop. How you pitch is entirely up to you, just remember to to be clear and explain your message. You may use any means of visuals you need to get the point across.

JUDGING:
Pitch videos will be reviewed by staff to make the first cut. We will be looking at the strength of story, originality, clarity, and feasibility given the budget. Once accepted your ptich video will be open to public voting on the Synimatica Streaming Platform. Here participants are free to attend and vote for their favorite pitch. Votes are tracked for duplicate multiple votes from a single user. You are encouraged to share your pitch video from the platform to gain votes through social media sources, online blogs, and groups.
