To create an environment where the collective group of women filmmakers can network, utilize and discover resources, capital and distribution.
To identify and reward generations of women filmmakers recognized by the industry.
To broaden public and industry awareness of the capabilities and achievements of women filmmakers in the Hollywood and independent film community
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Women In Shorts is a four-day short film festival retreat and international film market dedicated exclusively to women filmmakers.

Film must be directed, executive produced, written, created by, edited or scored by a woman. Films with a female lead will also be considered.
All films (digital, animation, etc.) must be transferred onto a DVD for screenings.
For theater projection, you must format your film for DVD and theater screen
We are happy to consider your film for a “premiere” however, it cannot be available online via such services as YouTube, Hulu, etc.

The Four Walls Film Festival's Women In Shorts is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless The Four Walls Film Festival's Women In Shorts from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
