MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Seeking digital short films of your unique take on how girls and women should be portrayed in the media and pop culture.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The National Council on Women's Health is pleased to announce the "I AM THE CHANGE" Film Festival. The competition is open to all girls grades 8 to 12. We're looking for digital shorts, no more than 5mins, that address the portrayal of women in the media and pop culture. All films must be original work and must not contain nudity or profanity. Films will be judged on originality, creativity and the power of the message. From the pool of selected semi-finalists, an overall winner will be selected to receive the NCWH "I AM THE CHANGE" Gloria Steinem Award.

GENERAL RULES
Contest open to students grades 8 to 12.
No nudity, profanity or use of copyrighted material.
All entrants must confirm their short films are original work.
Judging will be announced and prizes awarded December 15th, 2012.
Films become the property of the National Council on Women's Health.
