International Feature Films
Feature length narratives with a minimum running time of 60 minutes. International movies with various spoken language are welcomed, but must be added with English subtitles.
International Short Films
Short narrative films with run time of 59 minutes and below. International movies with various spoken language are welcomed, but must be added with English subtitles.
Documentary Feature
Over 60 minutes in length.
Documentary Short
Run time of 59 minutes and below.
Newcomer
We are welcoming newcomers in the movie industry. The film director must stated that the movie is his or her third movie (or under) on his/her application.

MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture was established by some individuals who concerns for betterment of humanity, as a means of supporting and promoting filmmakers all over the world, and by uplifting the film industry, we hope to participate in a cleaner and better environment, raising the quality of life, and intercultural dialogues for better acceptance and deeper understanding of people and diversity in life.

Our main mission is to promote films pertaining to environment, health, and culture issues, each with their unique methods of storytelling. Through this festival, we hope to:

1. Raise awareness about the urgency to save the Earth.
2. Make our environment have a better atmosphere to live.
3. Provide information and uplift awareness worldwide about severe, acute, chronic, or rare disease.
4. Increase life span through better knowledge, self-respecting, and acceptance.
5. Encourage people with decreasing health who are struggling with pain and depression.
6. Promote intercultural dialogue to make a better acceptance through diversity amongst various cultures.
7. Fight the behavior of stereotyping and patronizing others.
8. Participate in the global community events celebrating the World Health Day (7 April), World Lupus Day (10 May), World Cultural Day (21 May), and World Environment Day (5 June).


ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture open its submissions from filmmakers all over the world. We accept features and documentaries (newcomers are welcomed). The films will be pre-selected before presented to a judge panel.

GENERAL RULES
Please enclose all your submission with a cover letter explaining detailing premiere status, your experiences during the process of the movie, reason for making this movie, and any noteworthy details we should know before previewing it.

- The film production could be from any year.
- All films must be submitted on DVD format (2 copies) or through online screener.
- We will not return your screening copies.
- All filmmakers must have an exhibition format available in at least one of the following: DVD, bluray, or DCP.
- All submission fees are non-refundable.
- If chosen for festival screening, 2 copies high quality DVD, bluray, or DCP must be sent for festival screening. Mark case and DVD, with title, length, year, and maker's name.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LIABILITY Although every possible care will be taken with DVDs while in our possession, however, we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen loss or damage of entries. Please do not send originals. REPRODUCTION AGREEMENT Submission of an entry gives the festival permission to have accepted work exhibited, photographed, locally telecast, and reproduced either in part or whole, for educational or publicity purposes. POST SELECTION RULES & REGULATIONS Films selected may not be withdrawn from the Festival program after its registration. All submission fees are non-refundable. DISPATCH & RETURN OF FILM PRINTS AND DVDS • DVD or prints selected for participation should be sent by airfreight pre-paid. All transportation/ shipping costs (including customs clearance) to Jakarta, plus fees for insurance while in transit, must be borne by the participants (SELECTION PURPOSE / CULTURAL PURPOSE only - Not for commercial use). The Festival Director reserves the right to refuse any shipment involving unpaid costs. • Additionally, the sender should inform the Festival by e-mail, the title of the film, the date and means of shipment, and the amount paid for dispatch. • Festival does not pay return freight for the print. Work(s) submitted to IFFEHC on physical media will not be returned and will become the property of IFFEHC and may be discarded without notice, unless with explicit demand (one month prior to the Festivals) and at the applicant’s expense. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS The Festival Directorate may deny participation to any film unable to meet the technical requirements for a public screening of good quality. CHANGES AND ALTERATIONS The Festival Management reserves the right to make changes in the profile of the Festival, if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond his/her control. LEGAL NOTICE The duration of this agreement shall commence as of the date of submission by Owner and terminate at the close of the 2013 Festival. By entering your film for consideration, you attest that you hold all right to exhibit the given work. International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for educational or promotional purposes. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture and all sponsors of the International Film Festival for Environment, Health, and Culture from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening dvds/bluray/DCP entered.
