MISSION & OBJECTIVE

Film has the power to bring history to life, open windows into other cultures and engage in a way that no other medium can duplicate. Universe Multicultural Film Festival provides an equal stage for every culture to show and shine.

For film lovers, it is a place for the unique movies that can open people's mind and fresh their eyes. For film makers, it is a fantastic place to meet with the others and to create cross cultural film project. For distributors, it is a market to pick up the most diverse films. For locals, it is a wonderful festival that is full of fun and cultural education.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Universe Multicultural Film Festival, organized by Maeya Culture Exchange Group LLC, will present a wide variety of films, including original shorts, features, documentaries and animations created by those selected filmmakers from all over the world. This festival will offer an amazing opportunity to all visitors to find out and learn in an outstanding way about different cultures, lifestyles, traditions and beliefs. For this purpose, all the screened films will be either voiced in English or contain subtitles. Thus, there won’t be language barrier for the audience. Also, there will be actors and actresses performing the finalist’s screenplay at the site.

This film exhibition will also allow the community from Los Angeles to attend and take part in different activities such as industry panels and cultural events. Also, the committee will host high-quality events for the participants and collaborators, including film receptions, galas, award ceremony, and specific seminars with directors and filmmakers looking for new potential projects.
