As part of the Lift-Off International Film Festivals based in London, the cultural exchange between the UK and the USA: Los Angeles Lift-Off Takes place in September 2014.

Selected winners of the London, Liverpool and Las Vegas Lift-Off Film Festivals screen at LA Lift-Off; along with new hopefuls from around the globe looking to join the prestigious, and, ever-expanding, network of emerging industry professionals at Lift-Off.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
A cultural exchange of Independent Cinema, aimed to launch careers and champion pure creativity!

Screenings in the city of angels will be sure to attract the film-making population of this massive hub of film professionals and fanatics.

In our first year LA Lift-Off was a free to attend event held at Beyond Baroque in Venice Beach.

Student and professional filmmakers have the chance to showcase their work in an unbiased environment. We will be programming student films with professional/independent ones and then voting on them on individual merit rather than containment within category. Every single film and script that is submitted will be treated the same and entered into the same pot. Awards will be given to the highest standards in drama, acting, story structure and artistic merit. A large budget and glossy production value means nothing to us at Lift-Off -- all we care about is great delivery of an honest story.
