We encourage you to use external microphones, tripods, interchangeable lenses and lighting as needed to make the best movie possible.

MISSION & OBJECTIVE
COME SHARE THE ULTIMATE STORY - YOURS!

The ALBUQUERQUE FILM & MUSIC EXPERIENCE is presented by the AFME Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to create oneness through the power of film, music and the arts.

We produce and present AFME each June with a lineup of mainstream and socially impactful movies and events throughout the week and year-round. We believe stories shape and enlighten who we are and what we do individually, collectively and for the world.

Our purpose is to bring filmmakers, musicians, artists and visionaries together from around the world to co-create into the future and honor the responsible use of community resources, while sharing the unique character of New Mexico. We celebrate the art of storytelling and are proud to offer programming where attendees experience more than just a film festival.

The AFME Foundation provides scholarships, internships, financial contributions and support to New Mexico students, filmmakers, artists and musicians who, otherwise, may never pursue their dreams in the arts.
