The Ocktober Film Festival is the "go to" place on the east coast to discover independent films, new media and emerging technologies.

The Ocktober Film Festival (OFF) takes place in New York and it had its debut in 2013 during the popular Ocktober Music and Film Festival. This year we have created individual festival platforms for showcasing both music and film. The Ocktober Film Festival will continue its successful opening night format which opens with a room filled with notable celebrities, producers, distributors and independent filmmakers from across the country.

Our Film Festival winners from last year received a tremendous amount of press coverage and support. This year we will continue to work towards educating and assisting our filmmakers by hosting workshops and strategic networking events. Our workshops will include topics such as acting, writing, filmmaking, producing, distribution and financing. We are eager and excited to share useful information that will enrich and empower our filmmaking community.
