The Festival provides a unique venue for filmmakers to present their short films to an audience on North Florida's historic Apalachicola River. Films will focus on entertaining documentaries and narrative pieces portraying today's culture. This is an opportunity for filmmakers to develope contacts for future projects and experience an enjoyable festival at the mouth of a majestic river on the Gulf of Mexico.

Apalach RiverFilm is a one night event featuring short films in many genres. This first year's festival focuses on quality providing the potential to grow into an annual two night weekend event. Ultimately, this festival's goal is to be a prominent event in the Southeast for years to come. This is an opportunity to host a prestigous celebration bringing culture, education and enjoyment to a community while utilizing an incredible backdrop provided by nature.
