MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Family Resources Opening Doors Film Festival is a one-night event that raises funds for Family Resources. Family Resources has a rich heritage of providing a safe place for children, women and families that dates back to 1849. The organization provides services for domestic violence survivors, children deemed delinquent by the state, children who are unable to live in a family situation, rape and sexual assault survivors and therapy for individuals dealing with mental health issues.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Family Resources Opening Doors Film Festival is a new event for 2014. It replaces the "Family Resources Opening Doors Gala" as a fundraising event for social service in the midwest. The event is on April 12, 2014 in Bettendorf, Iowa. The top film submissions (apx 5) will be shown during the event as a means to share the mission of Family Resources in an artistic and powerful manner. Approximately 450 people will be in attendance at the event.
