MISSION & OBJECTIVE
This is a family oriented film festival which means no R-rated material, no horror or gratuitious violence. The festival is open to both Professional and Student filmmakers, both Domestic and International. All entries will be judged by a panel of well-qualified individuals with experience in various fields of the entertainment industry. During the festival, there will be public screenings of notable entries and award-winners. Arts for the Community, Inc (501c3) is the founder and primary sponsor of the event.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
This year, 2014 marks the inaugural festival in this quaint little lakeside central Florida town. The festival headquarters is at the historic Lakeside Inn on the shore of beautiful Lake Dora. The panel of judges will include movie and television stars, writers and filmmakers, just like many of you. We believe there is a need for wholesome family-friendly entertainment with uplifting messages. We want to showcase such efforts to the world.
