Miami Indie Artist Film Festival (MiaFF) is an underground festival actively seeking to introduce the work of risky and creative filmmakers of all length and genres. MiaFF, the newest, hottest festival in Miami Florida USA. The concept behind MiaFF is to have a festival in one venue for all filmmakers, investors and fans from around the world to connect with and build relationships that will take careers to the next level. We push entrepreneurs to joint venture with other like business minded individuals to create projects larger than was ever imagined. MiaFF will also give chances to artists that have been denied the opportunity to showcase their talents in other festivals. With our unique "Second Chance" concept, we encourage all artists to give their films the chance it deserves by bringing your talents to sunny South Florida. Throughout the year, we challenge ourselves to discover and develop independent artists and audiences. We are the platform for artists to present their works without the politics or restrictions. The new MIA Film Festival is dedicated to cultivate talent. Our mission, through its programs, seeks to discover, support and inspire past, present and future independent filmmakers from the United States and around the world, and to bridge audiences to their new work. Prices of up to $60,000. Come Join us December 5-13, 2014.

The MIA Film Festival #MiaFF is based out of Miami, Florida and features films and screenplays of all length and genres worldwide. MiaFF is unique from the rest because we bring people together in one venue and encourage filmmakers that have been denied entry in other festivals, not for lack of quality, but because they were not given a fair shot ( the festival being to big). We promise to view all the films and critique them with truth and integrity. The way films should be approached, correctly. How many filmmakers have gotten denial letters, that discourage, with no explanation whatsoever? Thousands, if not in the millions. You see, we here at MiaFF are filmmakers and we know how it feels to be denied entry at a festival and have that same film win at several other festivals. There's something wrong with that picture! I say that my film wasn't even watched or I didn't know the right people. In either case, MiaFF wants to eliminate that problem from happening to story-tellers. In one venue, MiaFF is the only festival in Miami that truly bridges investors, filmmakers and audiences from all walks of life to joint ventures and continue to grow as artists. We honor filmmakers who put there heart and soul into the creation of art, regardless of sexuality, ethnicity, religion or political views. We strive to be the festival of choice for artists and investors to be part of a family, the MIA Film Festival family.
