Chelsea Fashion & Film Festival, Nov 20, 2014. A human rights benefit festival, featuring Love146.org to empower and educate children. Located at the Holy Apostles Theater, in the heart of New York City in Chelsea, Manhattan. 400+ person capacity venue with state of the art HD projection system and theater wide screen, with DVD capabilities. The festival organizers The Set NYC has been featured in publications such as BroadwayWorld.com, Theatermania.com, Examiner.com, Joonbug, Time Out New York, and New York Magazine. Showcase your short film or fashion designs in New York City Manhattan. Connect with press, distributors, media, film, fashion and acting professionals. Hosted by writer/producer MTV's Sean Lynch. Co-hosted by Olive Tree Pictures distribution company. Get seen by New York City's human rights groups, film, arts, fashion community!

We will be choosing the best short films and fashion designs in the year 2014. Accepted films & designs will be screened, showcased, and promoted in Chelsea, Manhattan New York City. All genres of short film or playlets accepted. Max length accepted: 20 min. Q&A with filmmakers after each screening. Network with human rights groups, film, and acting professionals from all over the world. The festival attendees will award the best short film of 2014 at the event. A 21 and over event, Thursday Nov 20, from 6pm - 2am.

Featuring NY Times reviewed director Eric Chaney, whos short film "Shelter to Sunlight" won best 'Best Short Film' at the Rainer Independent Film Festival. Eric Chaney's work has been acclaimed by Todd Komarnicki (Elf), Fred Zollo (Quiz Show, Mississippi Burning), and Daryl Freimark (Hairspray). The Cinema Couch will be interviewing film makers, directors, actors, and producers about their films and experience. Check out their recent interviews with Kelly Hu, Michael Jai White, Vicky Jeudy, and Paul Sorvino!

Portion of festival proceeds will support www.love146.org to educate and empower children.

1. To enter a competition you must be 21 years old or over at the time of entry.

2. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

3. The winner will be contacted via email. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Chelsea INDIE Short Films Festival may require.

5. The prize will not be transferable to another person.

6. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

7. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

8. Attending the festival is highly encouraged. Selected filmmakers are given 3 complimentary tickets and encouraged to publicize.


Person person submitting the Film acknowledges that he or she has obtained consent from any and all owners, creators, writers, Producers and/or other authorized representatives of the Film.

The full cost of sending the material, including customs fees and insurance, must be borne by the producer or his authorised representatives. All shipments must be sent prepaid. Shipments sent through international courier services must clearly indicate on their waybill that all costs for duties and taxes are to be billed to the sender.

Chelsea INDIE Short Films Festival is not liable for any lost or stolen property, before, during, or after the festival.

No film selected may be withdrawn from the Festival program after its publication. During the Festival no film selected may be screened outside the Festival venues before its official presentation at the Festival unless discuss with festival director.

Participation in the Festival requires the unconditional adherence to its regulations as set out here. Producers, distributors or other organizations submitting a film must ensure that they are legitimately entitled to enter a film in the Festival.

The Festival Director reserves the right to settle any case not covered by these regulations.

We will investigate complaints, act on emails claiming unjustified exploitation of data and take such further action, as we, in our sole discretion, deem appropriate.
