MISSION & OBJECTIVE

Saluting those who bring to the screen their excellence in innovation and unwavering passion for filmmaking. Where culture dwellers come out to play... Way Down Film Festival. Join the Underground.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

WDFF was founded on the principle to support the blooming, underground arts - to enhance awareness through exciting short films that shed light on the periphery, express triumph over tragedy, and allow audiences to walk away with more courage and perspective, feeling inspired and connected.

Way Down Film Festival Is back, with the 2nd high-profile film festival in Columbus, GA. WDFF will showcase over 40 short films, celebrating the most innovative voices in narrative, animation, documentary, and experimental categories from all over the world.

WDFF exists to empower the artists, audience, and community through encouraging film projects and solidifying the success of the film industry in Columbus, GA. We also see the importance and potential impact in serving as a tool for filmmakers to weave their growth and efforts into our community at large.
