MISSION & OBJECTIVE

About OLA of Eastern Long Island, Inc.:
OLA (Organización Latino-Americana) was founded in 2002 as a nonprofit agency committed to promoting social, economic, cultural, and educational development within Long Island’s East End Latino / Hispanic communities.

Through its own programming initiatives and ongoing local collaborations, OLA strives to empower, inform and celebrate our varied Latino and Hispanic communities while building bridges within the larger East End community that help to foster understanding and harmony.

The OLA Latino Film Festival of the Hamptons IS that bridge.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

This will be OLA's 14th annual Latino Film Festival!

OLA has been producing its film festival in the very best venues of The Hamptons on Long Island since it was originally created. However, our curated films have generally been large budget films that have already won awards and praise across the globe.

This 14th annual film festival, OLA will continue to sound the call for new and independent films that will show our audience of Spanish and English speakers a wider and more eclectic offering of Spanish language films with English subtitles.

While OLA exists as a non-profit organization, the Film Festival is a critical means by which we have brought communities together side by side in their love of story telling through film.

Given our prime location and access to actors, producers, and funders, OLA's Latino Film Festival of the Hamptons offers the right placement at the moment when Independent Film is most talked about in the Hamptons.

We will be posting more information on the Judges panel we have selected and possible cash prizes. For the moment there are no cash prizes. However, depending upon sponsorship, we are planning to offer at least 2 cash prizes to Best Feature and Best Short.

Thank you for your interest in the OLA Latino Film Festival of the Hamptons. We look forward to viewing your films.
