Project Eligibility
· All submitters and production teams must be 21 years of age or older***
Project Eligibility
· Only short form narrative (60 minutes and under) projects will be considered
· Production team, or production itself, must be based in either Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, or Utah
· Films must have a Latino focus – centering on fresh innovative story telling that reflects Latino culture and experience.
· Ideal production teams are bilingual and/or bicultural Latinos
· The film may be in the development, pre-production or production stages.

MISSION & OBJECTIVE

PitchLatino is a regional pitch that seeks to find new projects and voices that highlight Latino culture and themes within the community. PitchLatino will provide support to the selected project for the next phase in their production process, while connecting filmmakers to mentors and industry professionals.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Submissions will be narrowed down to 5 projects. The Denver Film Society will assemble a panel of industry professionals to listen to 5 pitches during CineLatino. The panel will review all pitches and select a winner. The winner of PitchLatino will receive a $2500 production grant, courtesy of Coors Light Lideres, CineLatino and the Denver Film Society.

1. Create a film project on Withoutabox and include the below materials:
2. A letter that introduces your project and project team. If the submitted project is your first feature, please note this in your letter. Include this information in the cover letter at the time of submission.
3. One sentence logline. Include this information in the logline section on your Withoutabox project form when you create the project.
4. A synopsis of 100 words or more. Include this information in the synopsis section on the Basic Information tab your Withoutabox project form.
5. Estimated budget (USD). Include this information on the Detailed Information tab of your Withoutabox project form.
6. A sample of a prior work (if any) via secure or password-protected online links. Upload a secure online screener or include a Vimeo link once you click Finish on your project form.
7. Proposed shooting locations. Please include all cities and states/provinces, along with the country, if known. These locations may be tentative. Include this information in the press kit section under Production Notes.
8. A 5-8 page treatment – Upload this file to the press kit section. Go to press kit and then Other Files.
9. A C.V. or resume for the director(s), writers (s) and producer(s). – Upload this file to the press kit section. Go to press kit and then Resumes/Bios
10. A full script – Upload this file to the press kit section. Go to press kit and then Other Files.

Requirements for Selected Pitch Projects
· If selected, at least one member of your team must be available to attend PitchLatino on September 23 in Denver, CO to represent the project.
· Denver Film Society will provide travel and accommodations for one (1) member of your team to attend PitchLatino.
· Each selected project will receive two all-access badges to CineLatino. Additional badges will be available at discount rates.
· If your project is selected, Denver Film Society requests that you include our logo and the CineLatino logo within the credits of your completed project.

Submission Instructions
· There is a $45 (USD) submission fee. Current Denver Film Society members will have application fee waived. Once your project is submitted, you will be directed to a payment page (all major credit cards accepted). Unpaid entries will not be reviewed.
· No physical submissions of any kind will be accepted. The submission form accommodates all required materials, including online screening links.
· All items listed below must be included with any submission. Any submitted project that does not meet all of these requirements will not be reviewed. Additional supporting materials may be submitted at your discretion but are neither required nor encouraged.

By submitting this project to PitchLatino (Pitch) you explicitly grant Pitch organizers, judges, volunteers, interns, and any other Pitch personnel ("Pitch Staff") permission to read and review any submitted materials.

No submitted materials will be returned. If your project is selected as the winner, you must include the Denver Film Society, CineLatino, Coors Light Lideres logos within the credits of your completed film.

You specifically waive and agree not to bring any and all claims against Pitch, Pitch Staff, Denver Film Society or any other persons or companies associated with the Pitch that may arise from the submission of these materials. *
