MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Selected as one of "20 film festivals worth the entry fee," by MovieMaker Magazine.

The RIFF welcomes films and filmmakers from around the globe to share the art of independent film with regional audiences, to entertain and enlighten festival attendees, to provide filmmakers the opportunity for professional networking and development, and to encourage cultural tourism and film industry development in Rome, GA and the surrounding area.



ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Rome International Film Festival is a filmmaker-friendly festival that concentrates on the enjoyment of filmmaking. We want to give a heightened sense of the experience to all who participate and attend.

Our 2013 festival was a smashing hit and we expect nothing less for 2014. Enjoy the friendly, small town feeling with many big city amenities. Come join us as we celebrate our 11th anniversary this year at RIFF.

GENERAL RULES
Film durations are divided at the 45 minute mark for "features" and "shorts." If your film is between 40 and 46 minutes, you decide which competition category is preferable.

Each category has a trophy for best in category. There is also an overall Audience Award for ALL shorts and another Audience Award for ALL features.

Please include the following when mailing your entry:

An NTSC DVD of the work(s). Be aware that we cannot return the preview copy.

An electronic image suitable for the program.

A synopsis or description alone on one page or in the Withoutabox project description/ online press kit (one paragraph, appropriate for quick reading)

Entry fees in the form of check or money order if you did not pay with a credit card.

A separate entry fee must accompany each work.

Be certain to include your name, WAB tracking ID, and return address clearly on the package. Include the category on the label as well.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Rome International Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Rome International Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. I agree that I am duly authorized to submit this film to the Festival and hold all rights and clearances and hold the Festival harmless for any infringements that may occur.
