The 10th Annual Atlanta International Documentary Film Festival (DocuFest Atlanta) is an annual celebration of documentary films and filmmakers.
The Atlanta International Documentary Festival (DocuFest Atlanta) brings you the best in independent documentary film and video from across the globe.
DocuFest Atlanta showcases meaningful life stories which educate and entertain audiences of every demographic.
We encourage talented documentary filmmakers from every country to enter their short and feature length documentary films. Come share your story with our audience, and meet other documentary filmmakers from all over the world.
Join us for this very special event, where life-changing documentary films and their creators are celebrated.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
We accept online submissions via Withoutabox's Secure Online Screeners, or include a link to another online source such as Vimeo. Please do not mail a hard copy of your work.

Cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please use as little packaging material as possible.
Entry fees must be in U.S. funds only.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks before the festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening/presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DocuFest Atlanta is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless DocuFest Atlanta from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
