MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The 17th Over the Fence Comedy Film Festival Call For Entries
is open to August, 2014.

OTF Vision are:
1. To encourage and stimulate new comedy production.
2. To exhibit broad range of work for and to local audiences.
3. To dedicate a film festival to the genre comedy.
4. To celebrate comic culture, humour and verve.
5. To entertain, and
6. To inspire



ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Over The Fence, one of the world's coolest comedy film festivals is looking for the best comedy films from around the planetl!
Our criteria for a comedy short film is simple `a film which is driven by, or, ultimately concludes with an 'excellent sense of humour'.


OTF is now calling for entries for the 17th Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival showcasing the funny, satirical, quirky, outrageous, fantastic and bizarre humour of emerging, new and independent filmmakers from around the world.



Our definition for comedy -

Anything can be said in a short film and said with an excellent sense of humour.

The Guidelines for the

1 - any format; preview on DVD pal/ntsc or electronic

2 - Short Film or Long Short Film categories (includes series)

3 - any comic genre; black, slapstick, irreverent, romantic,
political, subversive, absurd ... etc.

4 - any form drama, doco, animation, mocumentary, and more...

5 - And, must have an excellent sense of humour.

GENERAL RULES
Our definition for comedy -

`A film which is driven by, or, ultimately concludes with an excellent sense of humour.

The Guidelines for the

1 - any format; preview on DVD pal/ntsc

2 - any length between to suit Category Submission.

3 - any comic genre; black, slapstick, irreverent, romantic,
political, subversive, absurd ... etc. And must have an
excellent sense of humour.


4 - FORMAT: All films should be submitted on DVD. We require TWO DVDs as we have multiple screening groups viewing screeners for selection.

5 - ONE FILM PER DVD: Please make sure there is only one film per DVD, multiple submissions require multiple entry fees and separate disks!

6 - PREVIEW DVD: DVDs would remain in the festival archive.

7 - PRIZES: The circumstance COULD POSSIBLY arise that an award would not be given if no film was deemed outstanding in a category.

8 - SUBTITLES: All non-english language films must be subtitled/dubbed in English.

9 - POSTING: Please mark international entries "Festival submission only- no commercial value". Mark value no higher than AUD$10. All postage costs and duties are the responsibility of the sender.

10 - ENTRY FEES: Are not refundable.

11 - TOURING: Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival (OTF) does a post festival tour and all films entered MUST be available to tour without renumeration.

12 - LABELLING: Please insure your DVD is CLEARLY labelled with film name, runtime, and contact details. Professionally mastered DVDs are preferred (less problems!!).

13 - PLEASE NOTE: While we will make EVERY EFFORT to stick to screening times as printed, OTF cannot be held accountable for changes to the schedule after schedule is announced.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
