The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival is a celebration of independent film held annually in Tampa, Florida and has become the most exciting and most well attended festival regionally and in the Tampa Bay area.

The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival ("GIFF") is Tampa Bay's largest independent film festival. The festival is part of Gasparilla Arts Month (Music, Art, Film) in Tampa where over 100,000 arts patrons attend arts events over the month of March- so you will most definitely have the opportunity to expose your film to this large audience and attending film distributors!

Most importantly, YOU the FILMMAKER are our #1 priority. Movie Maker Magazine listed GIFF as a "Top 25 Film Festival Worth the Entry Fee" for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Competition films receive travel stipends and hotel accommodations (length tbd). Additionally, while in Tampa, our guest services offers coordination of transportation services. If you are accepted into our festival, you will be treated to a number of FILMMAKER ONLY exclusives, including private receptions, our Filmmaker Lounge, VIP treatment and more.

Tampa Bay is rich in tradition: GIFF's home in Ybor City was once home to many Cuban cigar makers ("The Cigar Capital of the World"). Our Festival will be holding some events in Ybor City- as well as Opening Night at the Historic Tampa Theatre in Downtown Tampa.

The Festival will be showcasing films of all types/genres, including features, documentaries, shorts, music videos, family-friendly films and those with a International flavor!

We want you to attend GIFF and experience the best of what we have to offer. Submit your film today!
