Now Accepting Scripts!

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
In addition to mockumentaries, MOCKFEST is now accepting comedy films of all types and genres. Unproduced scripts are also accepted! MOCKFEST is the first film festival founded in appreciation of the mockumentary, a groundbreaking film style capable of bending reality and shaping human perceptions. MOCKFEST now features comedies in addition to mockumentaries of all types and lengths, comedic, dramatic, and experimental, and will showcase works from the past, present and future. The festival's most highly prized characteristic is innovation. All films that are selected to appear at the 2014 festival will have that in common. Exceptional films may be chosen for additional screenings as exhibition pieces at partner festivals.

MOCKFEST of Hollywood is a filmmaker friendly festival, offering Q&A's and special activities to selected filmmakers in 2014. Set in the heart of the film industry in Hollywood, the festival site is a vacation destination in itself. Not far from the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre, The Kodak Theater, and The Pantages, and close to all major L.A. attractions, MOCKFEST attendees will want to schedule an extra day or two in town just to take in the sights.
