MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Rainier Independent Film Festival is dedicated to providing true independent filmmakers a unique venue to have their films screened, in addition to filmmaking seminars and workshops, in the tranquil area surrounding Mount Rainier.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Located in the foothills of Mount Rainier, the Ashford Valley provides the perfect setting for RIFF. Screening venues range from a Yurt to a 1920's Screening Hall with capacity to 300. Mixing films, workshops and the laid-back setting of the area, this festival is set apart in the fact that it is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with film industry people outside of the hustle and bustle typically associated with the business. ORGANIZERS
Andrea Edmondson (Festival Coordinator)
; Shauntae Tracht
; Win Whittaker (Filmmaker)
Our preferred preview formats are DVD, region 0 or 1, Blu-Ray region 0 or 1, or VHS. If you are not able to submit in one of these formats, we will also accept Secure Online Screeners through Withoutabox.
Submissions will not be returned unless the filmmaker provides a pre-paid package.
Please be sure to write the WAB Tracking ID and Film Title on the disc in case it becomes separated from its box.
All accepted filmmakers will receive two festival screening passes and two tickets to the opening Gala and Closing Night Awards.
Good luck and we look forward to seeing your film!
