Documentary (Feature)
Documentary is a broad category of visual expression that is based on the attempt, in one fashion or another, to document reality: a creative work of non-fiction, intended for cinema or TV release.
Animation (Feature)
Any type of film that is animated and over 60 mins, will be accepted into this category.
Music (Feature)
Music is an art form, entertainment, or activity which involves organized sound and varies according to culture. Any film that makes use of music, in its creation, performance, significance and even its definition, will be considered in this category.
Foreign Language (Feature)
Any film in a language other than English, released in the festival qualifying period in the country of origin. The Filmmaker Award is given to the director of the film but is considered an award for the country of origin.

Early Notice + Written Review:
Due to overwhelming requests, we are now proud to offer an Early Notice + Written Review option, under which we guarantee filmmakers will be contacted by our programming jury within 4 weeks of receipt of their screener with our programming decision and a professionally crafted written review.

This allows filmmakers the option of creating a re-cut or enjoying a jump on their promotional campaign.

The International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema London is a global industry event that will reach out to the many filmmakers who always place film at the centre of our acts as a truly international film industry event, a great place for business on your movie or script.

At the International Film Festival of world cinema all films feature in the Competition, as well as in the Short Film Corner, a professional area dedicated to meeting people, exchanging ideas and promoting films.

We have built a small but exceptional professional network of industry professional that will look at all films entered and will give business and commercial advice, in some cases the distributors attending will make offers to the filmmakers for their work and to work together to put your movies in the market place, we have the people and skills in our professional team to make this happen, if the professional attending feel there is a market for your movie or unproduced script, they will as with many films over the years of our other festival make things happen.

We are unique in the amount of platforms and festival we offer filmmakers, we can create a ripple for your movie to be seen around the world, it all starts here by entering your movie.

The Festival is very keen to discover new talent and act as a springboard for creation. The development of the producers network gives filmmakers an oppertunity to pitch there future production.

GENERAL RULES
The International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema has as its objective the promotion of cinematographic art by presenting films of quality and entertainment. The International Filmmaker Festival is an annual event It is possible that each film nominated may be presented more than once, now in our 7th year

The International filmmaker festival is like no other International film Festival, we put you the filmmaker in front of potential investors in any new production you may be considering, we put your movie in front of potential distribution and sales to look at the possibility of offering you real deals and real help for you the filmmaker, look at our program read the short bios of the professional attending, join us and put your movie in a market place.


(a) Feature films, documentaries and short subjects of any genre on 8mm, 16mm, 35mm, 70mm and video are selected by invitation, according to quality.

(b) The International Filmmaker Festival is competitive.

All films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English, unless dialogue or commentary is unnecessary for comprehension and appreciation. In the exceptional event that an unsubtitled print is accepted, English dialogue lists are required.

The International Filmmaker Festival reserves the right to use excerpts from submitted work for promotional purposes only. The Festival is open to the public. A substantial number of accredited national and international press, TV and film buyers and distributors also participate. Official or professional national organisations and individuals may submit feature and short films to the Festival. Films submitted for pre-selection should arrive no later than 15th October 2014 and must be shipped as per instructions above. All shipping costs of films must be borne by the sender. It is the International Filmmaker Festival's policy not to offer comments and reasons for films not selected for the programme.
