Exploitation Features
We feel that filmmakers that are making exploitation films end up getting their films grouped in other categories that don't do them justice. MISSION & OBJECTIVE

Our mission is to showcase the work of filmmakers with defiantly independent visions. We want to represent every genre of independent film from across the world during this celebration of the independent artist, and their work.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Arizona Underground Film Festival is Arizona's only underground film festival! We are now in our 8th year, we celebrate independent cinema between Sept. 18th to 26th of 2015.

The 9 day festival has been called one of the biggest underground film festivals in the country. The festival covers categories from Narrative, Horror, Documentaries, Experimental, Animation, and we are proud to offer an Exploitation category. We are asking for features and shorts in all these categories.

We give out awards in each category to shorts and features, including Audience Award, Director's Award, and Best of the Fest.

Many of the films that have screened at the festival go on to receive distribution from the festival screening, or from the attention your film receives from the screening.

We do accept online screeners, for more information please e-mail us at info@azundergroundfilmfest.com
