MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Peace On Earth Film Festival (POEFF) is a not-for-profit film festival whose primary objective is to amplify an awareness of peace as a possibility, by bringing attention to independent films in the various modalities of peace. Further, we celebrate and encourage the work of independent filmmakers from around the world. Through the power of motion pictures, POEFF endeavors to enlighten and empower individuals, families and communities to step out of the ignorance of conflict, violence and divisiveness into the light of communication, compassion and understanding. We endeavor to raise awareness of peace, nonviolence, social justice and an eco-balanced world.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Sixth Annual Peace On Earth Film Festival is the primary project of Transcendence Global Media, NFP [501 (c)3] and has been established to grow and nurture awareness of the possibilities within all of us to contribute to peace in our own lives as well as the lives of everyone on the planet. The POEFF is open to all people in a Free Venue. Partnered with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the festival provides for Filmmaker and Peacemaker Panels, and a special program for Chicago’s youth (Student Voices for Peace Outreach Program) in the historic Chicago Cultural Center’s beautiful 300 seat Claudia Cassidy Theater.

The POEFF will bring filmmakers of all backgrounds and levels of experience together in the message and promotion of peace and nonviolence for all the world. POEFF invites filmmaker's challenging perspectives on issues such as war, conflict (in all its various forms), world politics, hunger, environment, economics, and more, while presenting an alternative of peace and nonviolence from all cultural perspectives.
