We are looking for films produced by filmmakers anywhere in the U.S. that are 15 minutes or less.

Here's an opportunity to meet other filmmakers, watch some great films, and spend the day in Orlando, Florida. Our screenings are held at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center, which is right in the heart of Orlando's restaurants and tourist attractions.

We welcome Music Videos, Animation, Documentaries, and Narratives. Films must be under 15 minutes including credits.

Our goal is to provide a public showcase for quality films that might otherwise be ignored. Award Certificates will be given in 18 categories, and all films submitted to the festival through withoutabox are eligible for an IMDB page.

A panel of five judges will carefully evaluate each entry, and choose a "best" film in each of the following categories: Best Music Video (or musical); Best Director; Best Documentary; Best Screenplay; Best Horror; Best Drama; Best Comedy; Best Family Film; Best Animated; Best Cinematography; Best Editing; Best Short Film; Best Action; Best CGI; Best Sci-fi; Best Ensemble Cast; Best Suspense; Best Stunts; Winners will receive an Award Certificate.

This is our 7th year, and our 13th film festival.

Our mission is to acknowledge excellence in filmmaking. Our panel of five judges carefully screen each entry several times, evaluating its technical merit, script development, acting, and entertainment value. The films with the highest scores become "official entries", and are shown in our festival. Films with good audio, and strong stories have the greatest chance of being selected. We typically receive around 150 entries, and show 40-50. Filmmakers are welcome to come and introduce their film, and to participate in a Q&A afterwards. Our screening room seats 100, and tickets to all shows are free for anyone who wishes to attend...there is free parking also! Bring your whole cast, crew, and friends too! If you can't come to the festival, don't worry. We can hand out publicity materials for you.
