MISSION & OBJECTIVE

This competition is intended to promote and encourage the use of film and animation to explore and articulate the scope, humor and complexities of Judaism, Jewish Identity and/or the Jewish Experience.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Jewish Film Competition culminates in a program of selected films and award ceremony to be held in May in Los Angeles, CA.

A selection of the participating JFC films will then be screened to audiences at Jewish Film Festivals throughout the United States.

GENERAL RULES

- Films up to 20 min. in length..
- Entrant must be aged 18-26 at the time of the Jewlicious Festival.
- Film’s subject must pertain to Judaism, Jewish Identity or the “Jewish Experience.”

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All entered films are subject to the eligibility requirements.
The final selection of all films presented at the Festival and their placement in the program is the responsibility of the JFC Director. All films programmed during Jewlicious Festivals are screened to public audiences. There may also be additional screenings for press delegates and guests attending the Festival. Participating films may be shown in conjunction with the Jewish Film Competition or its affiliates at future dates and in other locations.

The competition entrants must ensure that they have the right to participate with regard to clearances, licenses and third persons connected with the production of the participating film.
