We are seeking films and videos that enrich, entertain, and encourage a sense of community. This festival hopes to recognize the diversity of local, regional, national and international LGBT communities.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

About the festival:

The Fargo-Moorhead LGBT Film Festival is partially sponsored by Minnesota State University Moorhead, Concordia College, North Dakota State University and Individual Community Donors.

Emerging from a Queer Film Series in the Fall of 2008, the festival is now in its eigthyear and has become an important yearly cultural event in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

We draw and screen national and international work.

GENERAL RULES

We are seeking films and videos that have content that addresses Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender lived experience.

If accepted, filmmakers agree to submit exhibition format work within two weeks prior to festival start. If work is not submitted by deadline, it will not be screened.

We are a small festival and do not have a budget set aside for film rental. IF YOUR FILM WILL REQUIRE A RENTAL FEE YOU MUST LET FESTIVAL STAFF KNOW THAT ON SUBMISSION!! Thanks for your attention to this.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All submission are judged through a jury process. Submitting a film or video to the festival does not mean that it will be a selection or that it will screen.

The festival reserves the right to use stills, synopses, and other press materials for festival promotion and marketing.
