To encourage films and videos of diversity and quailty.


Film makers from all over the world are invited to enter their films into the International Film Festival of Mind Body & Spirit which will take place in Hafan y Coed, Abercraf, Wales. Entries in any language are welcome. This event is intended for those with films coming from a spiritual and/or faith-based groundng. After acceptance you will be emailed details on where to send a final screening copy of your DVD. Subtitles are necessary for films other than those in English.


Rules For Participation

1. Dates and Venue
The Festival will take place in Hafan-y-Coed, Abercraf, South Wales, between August 2nd and 6th 2011.

2. Competition
The Festival reserves the right to place entries into alternative categories if they feel it is to the benefit of the title. Each submission must be entered separately. Entries will be assessed and successful submissions will be programmed for screening and enter the Festival competition.

3. Formats
For the selection process acceptable format: DVD
For successful submissions that are granted a screening: DVD

4. Selection
The Festival directors reserve the right to invite films for the competition and programme.

5. Entry Returns
To ensure your submission copy is returned include a postage paid envelope.

6. Screenings
Your submission copy may be used as your final screening copy however It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that a final screening copy of the entry reaches the Festival organisers at least 48 hours before any scheduled screening.

7. We reserve the right to use submissions for festival publicity and marketing purposes.

I have read and accept the Rules for Participation as listed above.

I understand them and will comply with these rules. I warrant the submission is my original work and there are no disputes regarding the ownership of the submission. I also warrant the submitted material does not defame or invade the rights of any person living or dead and I fully indemnify the Festival against any claim made for such violations of law.

To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements herein are true and correct. I understand that failure to adhere to the Festival rules will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any entry fee.

I agree to hold the Festival organisers harmless from and defend them against all claims, demands, losses, damages, judgements, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims by third parties, whether or not groundless, based on any film submitted by myself to the Festival.
