ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Warrambeen Film Festival is an event developed in response to an identified need to preserve regional stories and history whilst also filling a gap in family friendly arts events on the rural calendar. The festival is a day/ night event occurring in March annually which incorporates a competitive short film screening, live music and acts as well as a food and wine festival component showcasing the produce of the region plus newly introduced overnight camping. Located on the historical grounds of Warrambeen, (situated between Geelong and Ballarat in Victoria), the working sheep farm provides a one of a kind venue to an event that offers something for every kind of taste.

The motivation behind this event has always been to bring film to a farm for a unique one of a kind experience. We also reinvest into the community financially and artistically and work hard to engage new audiences. Film, and especially the short film format is so accessible to so many.

With three years under our belt, 2013 is set to be even bigger and better with overnight camping and a feature film category we look forward to having you and your film involved in a event not to be missed.
