The Fifth Annual Atlanta Shortsfest showcases a diverse mix of short films by ultra-talented filmmakers from across the globe.

Traditionally, short films often do not garner the attention they deserve on the festival circuit. Atlanta Shortsfest was established to spotlight and promote excellent short films, and provide an important platform to share and discuss your work with appreciative audiences and fellow filmmakers.

The Atlanta Shortsfest showcases a variety of short films with a running time under 45 minutes. Judges program comedy, animation, documentary, experimental, horror & sci-fi, personal, erotic, fantasy, drama, thrillers, action & adventure, cult and just about any other genre you can imagine.

Filmmakers of all experience levels are encouraged to enter their short films today for the next Atlanta Shortsfest,

We prefer submissions via Withoutabox's Secure Online Screeners. We have judges in all parts of the world, and our selection committee can view your film, and make a decision more rapidly. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.

Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, the Atlanta Shortsfest does give awards. The festival jury will present awards to short films selected as best in various categories, including Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Horror & Sci-Fi, Experimental, Animation, "Best of Fest" and many more.
