MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The India International FIlm Festival of Tampa Bay is dedicated to providing a platform for increased awareness of Indian cinema and culture by to the community by promoting films and industry professionals representing the diversity of India.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Over 35,000 people of Indian origin call Tampa bay their home. It is one of the fastest growing demographic and contributes approximately 3 billion dollars in revenue through diverse business fields such as Healthcare, IT, Retail, Hospitality, Real Estate and Manufacturing.

One field that plays a vital role in connecting this community and engaging others is films. India is one of the world’s largest makers of films producing over a thousand films annually in several languages. These films are widely viewed and enjoyed in over 80 different markets worldwide.

With the IIFF we hope to bring the community and business together through this medium of films, while providing a platform for independent film-makers to showcase their efforts.

The 5th Annual India International Film Festival (IIFF) of Tampa Bay will take place from April 18-20, 2014 in Tampa, FL. This three day festival will open with a main feature presentation and opening night gala, followed by a variety of feature films, short films, and documentaries from different genres.

GENERAL RULES
All films should be produced in 2011 or later.
The length of the film can be anything upto 150mins (2.5 hrs)
Films may be shorts, feature films, documentaries or music videos.
Films may or may not have an Indian theme.
Films may be by indian or international film-makers.
Film-makers may submit more than one entry (Each entry must be accompanied by the entry form)


Films should meet at least one of the following criteria

Should be from or about the Indian sub-continent.
Should be related to India or Indian sub-culture elsewhere.
Should have prominent creative input or acting by artists of Indian origin.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

India International Film Festival of Tampa Bay is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless India International Film Festival of Tampa Bay from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
