MISSION & OBJECTIVE

WILLiFEST spotlights independent filmmakers from around the world. We encourage you to submit your work and join us in New York City for a professional festival.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Williamsburg International Film Festival, voted a top 10 film festival by MovieMaker Magazine, is proud to be celebrating its tenth anniversary.

In addition to premieres, the festival features film selections from a multitude of categories as well as Screenplay, Commercial and Soundtrack competitions. This year we introduce the TV/Web Episode Competition and the Film/TV/Web Trailer Competition. Submit your TV or web pilot or episode with a running time of up to 60 minutes in length. Submit your trailer with a running time of up to 4 minutes. Winning trailer will play at the festival during a Saturday night screening. Competition winners are always invited to attend the festival with full festival passes. So bring your co-writer, producer, friend or family member.

Many of the films screened at WILLiFEST have gone on to have theatrical releases, broadcasts on PBS and other media outlets, and to be nominated and awarded at the American Academy Awards.
