|Move the inanimate, make it interesting and go out as far as you dare because we're game to see it. If your piece of animation is under 50 minutes, enter it here. If it is over 50 minutes, enter it as a Narrative Feature.
|A piece of work that delivers a clear picture of the topic, not propaganda. Shine the light on something, nudge the rock aside, let's take a look.
|Narrative films should be quite simply: a sequence of fictional events. Tell us a good story and do it with everything you've got.
|LGBTQ of any form or genre is encouraged to submit. We are interested in the untold stories and the invisible citizens. If your film is over 50 minutes, please enter it as a Narrative Feature.
MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Queens World Film Festival screens challenging films from around the world and around the corner. We are especially interested in maverick filmmakers of any sex, orientation, ethnicity, country, region with a point of view and we don't want you to back off. Take a stand and show us something we have never seen before.
We want you to have time with your audience and we want to build community around you and your work. That is why there is a Q & A in every screening and why we re-screen films all year long in our very popular Encore Screening series.
You could go to any festival in the world, so when you choose us, we don't take that lightly.
