MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Ruby Mountain Film Festival is a 100% volunteer based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the exhibition and nurturing of film and video as an art, spotlighting film talent from around the world. RMFF presents a full range of storytelling through visual arts from independent and student filmmakers.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The 2014 Ruby Mountain Film Festival will take place in Elko, Nevada on September 26-28th. RMFF presents approximately 50 films, filmmaker panels, an Awards Brunch and many other special events over the course of the 3 day festival. Set right in the heart of Cowboy Country and against the majestic backdrop of the Ruby Mountains, Elko plays host to filmmakers, distributors, and film enthusiasts from around the world. Festival guests come to view first run films from a wide range of genres but stay to experience rural Nevada's unique brand of hospitality.

After experiencing a full slate of films and panels, filmmakers are invited to participate in exclusive events, including guided tours of the area and the much anticipated midnight poker game.

Juried Best of Fest Awards will be given in the feature film, documentary, documentary short, short film, student film, music video, and animation categories. Audience Awards will be awarded for other screening blocks selected from all submissions by programmers. All awards will be given to those in attendance at the filmmaker brunch and mailed to those who are not in attendance.
