ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
As a writer who has drudged the road of endless phone calls and emails and played the dog and pony games to get in front of "Deal Makers" to get my screenplay considered for production now want to help other writers skip the reindeer games and go strait to the managers and agents that help us option or deals and sell our hard work. After lots of hard work to get my get my foot in the door with some of the principals who can make the dream a being a produced writer a reality I wanted to try and help others. Having been fortunate to make connections with a few of the people who pull the strings I decided to start the competition to reach out further and help a broader number of writers get their work in front of those that have been kind enough to look at and consider my work. Many screenplay competitions I signed up for offered a certificate and a pat on the back(or some software I already had) and a mention on their web site. Ours gets your work get seen so it will be given a chance at moving from the paper to the screen. Your work, if one of the chosen top five in a category, will be sent to my personal manager, agent and my PR firm puts out your national press release as a finalist. It will not just be thrown in their pile of "stuff to do" but it will get a personal request from me, Eddie Bauer Jr, to please read, consider and give feed back as to whether they feel it has the same promise that our judges and readers did. Feel free to call me at any time about anything and good luck.
