MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Northampton International Film Festival (NoHoIFF) is dedicated to showcasing independent film from around the world. NoHoIFF celebrates the art of filmmaking, inspiring artistic development and encouraging reflection through film. NoHoIFF presents excellence in filmmaking within a city known for its thriving and distinctive arts culture.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Northampton International Film Festival (NoHoIFF) is in its 18th annual season. NoHoIFF is pleased to announce the 2014 Festival will take place over three days during New England’s peak fall foliage season, showcasing films from around the world.The Festival will comprise of full length and short films chosen by a panel of film industry experts. Additional events will include an opening night gala following the opening night feature film, Q&A sessions with filmmakers and industry professionals as well as a closing awards ceremony.
Located just 2.5 hours north of New York City, Northampton Massachusetts or ‘NoHo’ as many locals refer to the city of 30,000 has been a longtime New England destination due to its thriving arts culture, restaurants, shopping and surrounding five colleges. The city slogan “Walk into Something Wonderful” summarizes the vibrant city’s distinctive and refined arts culture, established restaurant industry and abundance of boutique shops. Many accomplished artists call Northampton home contributing to the exceptionally versatile and successful arts community.

All submissions must be in specified format.
If submitting a DVD Screener, please send two copies in order for consideration. Submissions will not be returned. Fees are nonrefundable.
All foreign language entries must have English subtitles for review.
Entries must be postmarked by deadline.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I have read and agree to the general festival rules. I have all rights to provide my film to the festival for consideration and possible screening.
Northampton International Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Northampton International Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
