MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Isle of Wight Film Festival strives to showcase films not available to mainstream audiences. Human Rights, the Environment, Youth and Comedy are the genres of films we are looking to find and the one thing they all have in common is that the films have to have a heart.

The festival is set by the sea on the Isle of Wight as part of Ventnor Fringe Festival and is an International festival.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
THE 2014 ISLE OF WIGHT FILM FESTIVAL sponsored Whatever Pictures, , Amnesty International, Rapanui and On the Wight is a continuation of the IOWSFF which was established in 2007 with the help from Screen South and the UK Film Council

Specialising in Human Rights, Environmental and Drama shorts this year the festival will include a Children and Youth section to encourage younger audiences to watch a more diverse array of cinema. The 2014 festival will also include the Best IOW Film Category which has been awarded since 2007..

The feature film section of the festival will be both competitive and non competitive and an open brief.
