ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The DCIS Film Festival is a four day event of film screenings and panels, with directors, producers, writers, actors, SFX & Makeup artists all sharing their expertise. The Festival is part of Dragon*Con, America's largest annual multi-media popular arts convention.

Dragon Con 2013 attracted 60,000 attendees, including over 400 entertainment industry professionals, and Dragon Con '14 should do the same.

Located in downtown Atlanta within the Hyatt Regency Atlanta--Atlanta Marriott Marquis complex, Dragon Con has received extensive media coverage on CNN (based four blocks from the event), NPR, all major network news affiliates, over 60 international on-line news feeds, and nearly all radio and print media in the Atlanta area.

ORGANIZERS
Brenda Tackett (Office Manager) ; Robert P. Henry (Convention Chair)

GENERAL RULES
Entries must be submitted on DVD in NTSC format. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English.

Awards to be presented for the top film in each genre. Festival judges reserve the right to amend or alter these genres without notice.

The cost of a four-day pass for the event at-the-door is $130. Filmmakers receive a single pass, which allows them in to all screenings, parties, dances, concerts, celebrity events, and film panels.

Filmmakers attending the event may elect to participate on panels and workshops geared for independent filmmakers if spots are available (contact Matthew M. Foster at filmfestival@dragoncon.org).
