MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The mission of the Rehoboth Beach Film Society is to promote film as an art form through community outreach and educational film initiatives. The Film Society sponsors monthly screenings, community outreach efforts, special events, and the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival is a multi-day event in a popular resort town on southern Delaware's Atlantic coast. The festival began in 1998 and has since grown to a thriving cultural resource in the mid-Atlantic region. The festival screens American and international features, shorts, and documentaries.

This festival utilizes 8 theaters in a single, mutli-complex location, offering convenience to viewers and filmmakers. Besides the population of Delaware, our festival has become an important cultural destination for film enthusiasts from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York City and beyond.
