MISSION & OBJECTIVE
kidsfilmfest's mission is to discover, expose, and promote children's filmmakers while drawing worldwide attention to Brooklyn. kidsfilmfest is an exciting initiative of the Brooklyn Film Festival (BiFF).
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
With kidsfilmfest, BFF intends to expand its demographic outreach and further its commitment to bring to Brooklyn the best the world has to offer.
The program will be tailored for children of all ages (films will be rated "G"). It will consist of numerous short animation, live-action and documentary films. A variety of children's activities, interviews with the filmmakers, workshops, etc. will also be offered.
BFF is an international, competitive festival for and by independent film makers operative since 1997. BFF, inc. is a not-for-profit organization.

General rules are:
Film must be approx.15 minutes in length.
Film must be for children of ALL ages (no harsh language or adult themes).
Film must be completed after Jan 1, 2013.
Film can not be in distribution or theatrically released.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Preview and screening films will not be returned unless specified and paid for by filmmaker. Films may be used throughout the years at other venues and festivals. Filmmaker will be notified in advance of this, and will have the opportunity to decline the offer(s).
kidsfilmfest is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless kidsfilmfest from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
