MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Since 2003 Future Shorts has strived to build a new audience for film across the Globe, developing a platform for filmmakers that allows millions of people worldwide to engage with their work. We believe strongly in the social experience of film – in cinema as a communicator and community. We believe that cinema should be universally accessible by all, and not restricted by geography, status, wealth, or politics.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Future Shorts Festival is a quarterly global short film festival that unites audiences across the world. Breaking from the exclusivity of traditional film festivals, it aims to provide anyone, anywhere with access to the best short films out there. Live events take place every month in a growing international network of locations, showcasing a single programme of short films curated by Future Shorts HQ in London alongside live music, performance, design and much more.
Future Shorts Distribution is the world’s leading short film distribution label, representing an eclectic catalogue of over 400 titles from across the globe. We license to an international network of buyers across a variety of platforms as well as delivering short film packages and commissioning original films for the likes of Honda, Samsung HD, Mini, Stephen King and more. All un-represented films submitted for the festival are considered for distribution.
