Celebrating it's 16th year, the Newport Beach Film Festival has established itself as one of the top film festivals in the world, bringing the best in domestic and international filmmaking to Southern California. Committed to enlightening the public with a first-class international film program, a forum for cultural understanding and enriching educational opportunities, the Festival focuses on showcasing a diverse collection of films.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

As a true filmmakers festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival will screen over 350 films including over 200 shorts and over 150 feature length titles in 8 days.

The Newport Beach Film Festival spotlights works from around the world including feature length, short, documentary, animated and student films and will compete for Jury, Festival Honors and Audience Awards. In addition to film screenings, the Festival hosts premiere galas, an industry seminar series, and question and answer sessions with filmmakers.

We are committed to an outstanding experience for both our filmmakers and our audiences, starting with our screening process giving each submitted film the proper attention and respect that it deserves
