Shorts and Features of the Supernatural are considered
MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The 9th Annual Atlanta Horror Film Festival will showcase the very best independent films from across the world as we celebrated the art of horror.
Since 2006, the festival has been a favorite of filmmakers and fans from Atlanta and beyond.
Our focus is to celebrate independent cinema, and we strive to feature as many great films as we can during this great weekend of screenings.
AHFF showcases horror, sci-fi, gore, thrillers, mysteries, dark comedies, expERIEmentals, drama, animations, zombie films, cult - almost every genre you can imagine!
Although we love traditional horror, we are not attempting to create the typical showcase of blood and guts. AHFF presents cutting-edge films that represent the new genre of horror - films that audiences can’t and won’t forget.
We encourage all talented filmmakers to enter their short and feature-length films today for the Atlanta Horror Film Festival.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Because we have judges in all parts of the world, we accept submissions via Withoutabox's Secure Online Screeners, or another online source. You'll save on shipping cost, help protect the environment, and your film will be easily shared and reviewed by all members of our selection committee.
Please do not mail a hard copy of your work. Contact us with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org

Entry fees must be in US funds.
We prefer Online Screeners. If you do wish to ship a hard copy, cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. The festival can not accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please try to use as little packaging material as possible to cut down on trash.
Please consider submitting via Withoutabox's Secure Online Screeners, or another online source.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Programming decisions are made by the festival directors and our selection committee. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format will need to be in our office two weeks before the festival. Be sure to indicate aspect ratio of your film/video as well as any other special screening/presentation information we might need to know. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is programmed.
Although the art of filmmaking is not competitive, Atlanta Horror Film Festival does give awards to films selected as best in various categories.
